It’s a serviceable thriller that should satisfy those late winter cravings from action fans who haven’t seen enough bullets and fists flying onscreen. Nothing special but Reynolds and Washington make it better than it has any right to be. Good review. Check out mine when you can.

This film has some of the usual scary cues and tense moments, but the setting, the old Yankee Pedlar inn, emerges as a more interesting character than any of the people. Good review Perri.

I still eyeonjd it too though, just thought it totally fell flat on the story wasn’t great and the mood far too ‘sporadically eclectic’ (?). Even as a no-brainier action film there wasn’t THAT much action on offer.I totally understand why some people have eyeonjd it to the max though.

well, god. uroentunatfly for the people who made this movie, No Strings Attached came out in the same year. and now no one will stop comparing the two. sucks. I saw No strings just to see Natalie’s performance which was, as usual, okay but not amazing. I think this looks much funnier, though.

I am not sure if the critics have lost persepective. This movie although inspired by true events was built of the premise of entertainment. In a winter release one should count their blessings that a movie such as this is worth a glimpse. Sometimes critics get so caught up in the ability to take a movie down that they miss the point on the reason it was made in the first place. Let’s not look at the “depth” but just enjoy the ride. This fills the later.

I saw the movie, actually I saw it twice & I loved it. I enjoyed showing my daughter a part of history that she will never learn about in school even though it’s part of American History.

The dogfights are fun but everything else is filled with corniness, lame acting, predictable story arc, and moments where the film feels like a video-game rather than based on a true story. A great story to be told, but told in a very poor way. Good review. Check out mine when you get the chance.
