Interview: I, Frankenstein’s Yvonne Strahovski

Yvonne_StrahovskiOne day she’s taking out her enemies using rat poison in Dexter and the next, she’s trying to re-animate a rat Frankenstein-style in I, Frankenstein.  In the Stuart Beattie-directed film, Yvonne Strahovski steps in as Terra, an electrophysiologist employed by Bill Nighy’s Wessex to figure out a way to bring the dead back to life. She manages to make some progress with the aforementioned rat, but it isn’t until Victor Frankenstein’s monster, Adam (Aaron Eckhart), comes back to town that Terra gets closer than ever to cracking the code of re-animation. However, that doesn’t mean the code is necessarily safe to share. Hit the jump for more from the I, Frankenstein star.

At the recent New York City press day, Strahovski sat down with us to discuss going from not being very “scientifically minded” to playing a believable electrophysiologist, her first go-around on a CGI-heavy set, how she felt about the way Dexter went out and more.
